It all started in a hotel in Buenos Aires.
It was 2020, the world was coming to a halt, and Miri, founder of YouSpeakLatino, found herself locked in a hotel with 30 foreigners. Between improvised coffees and laughter in the hallway, the first requests appeared:
“Can you teach me Portuguese?”
There, in the middle of chaos, a school was born. Not of books and blackboards, but of real exchanges. YouSpeakLatino was born from life, from listening, and from the desire to understand and be understood.

But this story started earlier.
In 2007, Miri gave her first computer classes at Whirlpool and discovered the joy of teaching and seeing someone understand something new.

Since then, teaching has become part of who she is. And when life took her to Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Argentina, and Spain, language became her new tool for connection.

Based on these experiences, Miri created a living methodology that combines practice, emotion, and the neuroscience of learning.

With teaching training in anatomy, a public speaking course at the University of Buenos Aires, and studies in the neuroscience of learning and medical translation, she combines the human perspective of communication with knowledge about how the brain learns.

Today, she leads a team united by the same purpose: to be a bridge between people and possibilities.
